Arnold Wins in California

Wednesday 10/08/2003

Welcome to my world, where the Running Man has stopped running and has terminated Gray Davis. Hasta la vista baby. Republican Arnold Schwarzenegger wins the California recall gubernatorial election and it wasn't even close enough for the Democrats to try to get it into court with any hope at all. But, they did express sour grapes hinting at recalling Arnold if he doesn't fix their mess in 100 days, which in my opinion would be the most serious mistake they have made amongst many to date. They may get their own backing but they don't have the support of the people, who paraded to the polls in record numbers. The people were the big winners in California. The biggest of all of the losers here were the mud slingers and the left wing media who hit Arnold below the belt, the pork barrel politicians, like Davis, who thought they were untouchable, and backers like Jesse Jackson, Bill Clinton, and the other liberals who endorse such behavior. The people took back their state. Californians, including hispanics, didn't want illegal aliens to have driver's licenses. They balked at the triple car tax. They were appalled by the depth that the liberal press sunk to in the last pre-election days and taxed to the limit, they revolted against King Gray, in a way like the American Revolution. It was kind of a Boston Tea party without the tea. A message has been sent. I would hope the liberal media and partisan politicians from all parties are listening. This is America. Our Constitution reads not we the powerful, not we the politicians, but we the people, as I see it ... I'm H.G. Listiak.
