Random thoughts - El Republico

Thursday 07/24/2003

Welcome to my world, where I've got a few random thoughts on my mind if I've got one. The morning paper, El Republico, oddly enough still printed in English, lauds Arizona as a political star because of its maybe 25% Hispanic, 5% Native, 3% Black population, while ignoring the 2-1 ratio of Anglos. This is bolstered by the left wing Democratic presidential hopefuls who invade our state, stumbling over themselves with their clumsy pidgeon Spanish. Most of my Mexican friends regard these guys as little more than power greedy gringos who come off as little more than fools. The candidates trying to scoop up minorities in a leaky sieve seem to forget they are running for the Presidency of the United States, a country where even the Constitution is written in English! It's our Mother language! And since we are all Americans, with the exception of illegal aliens (lawbreakers), to break us down into different groups will only divide the nation. And random thought number two involves the now campaign issue that is the President's State of the Union address, which claimed Saddam Hussein was after African nuke ingredients. An Italian journalist claims to have given false documents to the C.I.A. who gave the Intel to White House aides, who stuck it into the President's speech. This is no big deal to anyone except Liberal politicians and their media brown-nose brigade. The line between good and bad intelligence is a thin one, and after 9-11 America cannot afford to take chances. The fact that one of the most bloodthirsty despots (not to mention a major terrorist and terrorist backer) and his staff are either out of power or dead is good enough as I see it ... I'm H.G. Listiak.
